This section provides video versions of our Woodworking Equipment use Certification lessons for individual tools.

Watching these will save you a lot of time and money in the in person certifications. Check each video length to get an idea of how long an in person certification might take. If you have watched the video it is likely your in person time will be cut in half, along with the hourly fee.

The Equipment use Certification videos are intended for use in training our shop members in the safe and proper use of the equipment covered. The videos shown here contain information specific to our shop which may not apply outside of IsGood Woodworks.

The word “certification” applies only within the context of client use of our equipment when at IsGood Woodworks. Viewers of these videos will also be required to demonstrate their comprehension in person to be certified on any piece of equipment.

These woodworking instructions comprise a collection of specific processes for each class. These lessons summarize the classes and we suggest in person hands on learning for full comprehension. Use them if you miss a class, do not remember some details from the in person learning, or want to apply the process to a different project.
